Silver State Pediatric Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) is a teaching facility. A teaching facility partners with colleges and universities that provide training for health care professionals and nurses. At Silver State Pediatric SNF, we pride ourselves on being part of this educational process. We have students at our facility from nursing programs, respiratory therapy programs, physical therapy programs, and occupational therapy programs.
Perry Foundation
The Perry Foundation is a non-provider based 501 c(3) non-profit organization that provides evidence-based education to Nevada’s caregivers and healthcare professionals. The Perry Foundation’s education is grounded in a person-centered approach and promotes consistency and professionalism in the delivery of care, ensuring caregivers are equipped with the tools necessary to provide the best care possible. Silver State Pediatric Skilled Nursing Facility has partnered with the Perry Foundation to provide this ongoing continuing education to our nursing staff.
